"Reaching High on Tippy Toes"

I received a message one day from a researcher who was following tracks along a river bank when they came across a section that appeared to be toe prints only...the rest of the impression of a foot just wasn't there. She asked how this could be. I laughed and simply said, "Tippy toes." There was a slight pause, and then she laughed in understanding also.
This original 11 x 14" portrait was done on 90 lb black paper using pastel pencils.
